Breast Implant Removal

Breast Implant Removal Surgery (also known as Explant Surgery) is a procedure to remove a patient’s breast implants.

The decision to remove a patient's implants can be due to the patient having a desire to return to a more natural shape or  due to medical complications such as capsular contracture (hardening of scar tissue or capsule around the implant), a leak, or concern for health issues.

Breast Reduction

Breast Reduction Surgery removes excess breast tissue, glandular tissue and skin.

Breast reduction aims to achieve a breast size in proportion with your body. The surgery may be performed to relieve the discomfort associated with overly large breasts such as neck and upper back pain. This procedure is also called Reduction Mammoplasty.

Male Mastectomy

Gynecomastia is a condition which causes enlarged, non-cancerous breast tissue in males.

If this condition is painful and/or makes you self-conscious and contributes to your psychological distress, you may consider Breast Reduction Surgery (Male Mastectomy) for your Gynecomastia.

Excisional Biopsy

An excisional biopsy is a surgical procedure that is performed under a general anaesthetic in which a small lump or an imaging abnormality is excised from the breast.

Unlike surgery for breast cancer, the procedure involves removing the abnormality only. A margin of tissue is not required around the lump (imaging abnormality).
